Having been closed for a while beyond their control I was looking forward to a visit. I was not disappointed. The refurb looked fantastic, as was the food. Pete and team are back to what they do best and I can’t wait for the next time.

This was our first visit to The Toad. The service and food was amazing and the food was piping hot. I had the crispy pork belly, lovely crispy crackling meat was so soft and the pickled red cabbage was gorgeous. (I need the recipe for Christmas Day) ????. My husband had the Toad steak pie, he said it was delicious. Would definitely recommend this pub
Lovely lunch and an enjoyable afternoon with friends. Fabulous view from the window table. Responsive and helpful staff, especially when I suddenly felt very cold and a felt/fleece wrap was provided to help keep me warm
