UPDATED! The plans for Rhos Point have been announced!

The owner of Tir Prince Raceway has announced they are taking over the site at Rhos Point, and the plans look great! RhosOnSea.com is arranging a meeting with Adam White, the boss at Tir Prince and also runs Llandudno Pier, to get some more info.

When the site development was first announced, they said: “We will knock it all down apart from the tollhouse – this will be a multi-million-pound development, and we will create between 70 and 100 new jobs here,”

“We are planning a large restaurant, and it will be about quality rosette-standard food. Due to its location and the Mediterranean feel, we will be looking towards this theme with the restaurant. There will be an upmarket coffee shop at the other side of the site – with a lot of homemade produce.”

After a delay in getting started due to governemnt restrictions during covid, there has been an update!  Some work has already been done to tidy the area a little ready for assesments of the area for the planning application.

Some quotes from Tir Prince related to the latest update:

“Workers were at the site today (Tuesday) to help clean up the location.  They will undertake ground testing in the coming weeks before finalising the plans for the site and submitting a planning application.”
