Been here a few times and the fish and chips is always excellent. Really good location too - you can walk down and eat by the sea. It's popular so expect to queue for takeaway (even at lunch) and if you want plaice, warn them as soon as possible so they can get it cooking. The chip portions are very generous!
We stumbled upon the Galleon chippy whilst out walking in Rhos on Sea. What a find amazing. The couple who run it are delightful. We usually go to the chippy on the Orm. This chippy is as good if not better. I had a child's fish, chips and peas and it came with with a free drink. My husband had curry sauce and chips. It was all lovely and very reasonably priced. Under £10, the very same on the Orm £16. I would highly recommend this shop. 10 out of 10.
Had cod and chips which was cooked fresh to order. Cod was absolutely sensational, light crispy batter around a thick piece of fish. Chips were beautiful, and the portion size was more than generous. By far the nicest fish and chips I've ever had, a real local gem, cannot recommend highly enough.
