The fish and chips here really are good. Fopd was Cooked well and not greasy. Staff were very helpful as well, even woth above and beyond requests . They labelled our food so we knew which fish was which as it's such a nice place you can choose what kind of fish you want battered. We had to wait as there was a que but thats always a good sign and the people in the que were pleasent people willing to spemd a bit more on the extra quality food. My brother actually made me drive further than i wanted as he knew this place was good and i wasn't disappointed. I'll definitely be back.
I'm not a big chip shop fan AT ALL (mostly because of chips) but being limited to what is available at that time for a quick meal that will suit a little one me and my wife decided to give it a go. I had the spicy chicken burger and chips and the chips were absolutely delicious. The wife had a large haddock which I must say was cooked to perfection and again absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be visiting this chippy again when I'm in the area. The only thing that let the visit down was the noise of the stools being dragged on the floor in the small seating area.
Absolutely amazing chippy. Fantastic portion sizes and the quality was top notch. Hard to come by a proper chippy now and this was an absolute find! My lad had kids fish and chips too, which was a great size and would probably do most adults ????
